Marylebone Christmas Lights switch on 2026
Merry Marylebone Christmas returns on Wednesday 11 November
The event, which is organised and funded by The Howard de Walden Estate, returns on Wednesday 11 November with the much-loved Merry Marylebone Lights Switch-On and an evening of seasonal celebrations across Marylebone Village. For one evening, the village will be transformed into a pedestrianised winter wonderland, with curated stalls, festive food and drink, family entertainment, festive workshops and a spectacular 55-foot Ferris wheel. It is all in support of our charity partner, Evelina London Children’s Charity.
General attendance and admission is free, with festive workshops ticketed.
Charity partner
This year we are proud to partner with Evelina London Children’s Charity, part of Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. The funds raised will provide cutting-edge equipment, pioneering research and enhanced family support services, helping to improve specialist care and outcomes for young patients and their families.
Although events like this prove to be great fun, we do understand they can cause inconvenience to residents and businesses. We work closely with Westminster City Council to ensure minimum disturbance.
