Marylebone, home to The Howard de Walden Estate, is one of central London’s most attractive and atmospheric neighbourhoods.

Despite being located right in the heart of a vast international city, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, it sits within an oasis of relative tranquillity, while still offering the dynamism of a modern urban village.
Marylebone is characterised by a rare blend of beauty and convenience.
It is based around a simple grid of wide, attractive streets, punctuated by atmospheric mews and plenty of green spaces.

Few parts of London are better connected.
The areas is directly served by several London Underground stations and Marylebone mainline station, and is only a short hop from Paddington, Euston, King’s Cross and the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras. The arrival of Crossrail at Bond Street has added to this accessibility. The West End is within walking distance, as are two of the Royal Parks, and the City of London is just a quick tube or taxi ride away.

Inspired by our shared history and common values, we work closely with our neighbours on improving and promoting the whole of Marylebone.
As well as Howard de Walden, Marylebone is also home to another of London’s historic estates, The Portman Estate, which oversees the area directly to our west and with whom we collaborate regularly.
