Meet Me in Marylebone Village event – Resident and Business Information
On Saturday 30th September, The Howard de Walden Estate is collaborating with retailers and restaurants to host an event showcasing the best of food, drink and fashion Marylebone Lane has to offer.
The event will see brands activate outside of their stores within a road closure and offer exclusive discounts. There will be background music, craft workshops and alfresco dining. The event live times will be 12pm – 6pm.
Road closure
To host this event, Marylebone Lane and adjoining Streets will be shut to vehicles between Thayer Street and Wigmore Street on Saturday 30th September between 11am – 7pm. See road closure plan here.
Car access into the event area, will NOT be possible at any time between 11am - 7pm. Please avoid deliveries by vehicle to your homes on the day if you are located within the closure area. If emergency access is required, our stewarding team will ensure safe access is provided – but this will be strictly limited to emergencies.
Parking suspensions
For the event to happen safely we are required to suspend parking within the road closure area. If you have a resident permit, please ensure you park your car in a resident bay OUTSIDE of the road closure area the evening before or morning of the event. Access to parking bays will be maintained on Bulstrode Street (East of Marylebone Lane) and Bentinck Street. To minimise disruption to residents, we will be keeping parking bays available on Cross Keys Close and Bentinck Mews. There will however, be NO ACCESS to drive through the closure during the event so please ensure you move your car OUTSIDE of the area if you wish to travel by car during these times.
Music and noise
There will be live background music on Marylebone Lane between 12pm – 6pm. We apologise in advance for any noise disturbance these may produce and will aim to keep this to a minimum.
