Development Spotlight - Ashland House and Devonshire Place
We have recently completed significant refurbishments within our Residential portfolio, at Ashland House and 7 Devonshire Place.
The history of Ashland House dates back to circa 1881; originally designed as accommodation for families from the nearby Workhouse, it has been transformed and redeveloped over the years into desirable residential flats. Most recently 10 flats have undergone refurbishment and extension including the construction of a stunning penthouse, with all let quickly due to their prime location close to Marylebone High Street and its green outlook with views over Paddington Gardens.
Concurrently our Projects team completed significant refurbishment works on four units at 7 Devonshire Place, a Grade II listed building. This included a substantial upgrade to the EPC ratings including the installation of energy efficient LED lighting, roof insulation and air source heat pumps, while repairs to the building’s fabric involved using materials and features matching the original, including the use of plaster ceilings and ornate cornices so integral to the building’s character.
We are proud to host a thriving residential community in Marylebone Village and continue to work hard at providing beautiful, high-quality homes situated in a beautiful area in the heart of London.
