The Howard de Walden Estate appoints Head of Residential

  • Tracey Hartley has been appointed as Head of Residential to lead The Howard de Walden Estate’s £1.2bn residential portfolio. Formerly Director of Residential Operations at Grainger plc and member of DCLG’s Private Rented Sector Taskforce, the chartered surveyor will take up her post in October 2017. Tracey will maintain her industry roles including chairing the RICS Residential Property Management Working Group and sitting on its Residential Professional Group Board.

    Andrew Hynard, Chief Executive of The Howard de Walden Estate, commented “After an extensive search we are delighted to appoint Tracey to the role. This is a key appointment and she has the track record, knowledge and experience we want, as well as the right outlook and values to fit in.” This is the most senior recruit since Hynard’s arrival in October 2016.

    West London born Tracey added “The role at The Howard de Walden Estate is just too strong an opening to miss. It represents a special, once in a career, opportunity in a part of London my family and I know well. I am greatly looking forward to getting started and will balance a healthy respect for tradition with a forward looking perspective”.
