The History

• Set up 27 years ago by Romy Fraser, Neal’s Yard Remedies was pioneering the use of natural remedies and herbs.
• Beginning with one shop in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden, new shops began to open up on the basis of customer demand – world of mouth from people who had had positive experience through natural and therapeutic skincare products and treatments soon spread.
• In 2005 Neal’s Yard Remedies relocated to its new purpose built eco-factory and headquarters in Gillingham, Dorset, as place to grow their own herbs and where all its products are now made. 
• In the same year, Peter Kindersley, co-founder of publisher Dorling Kindersley, bought Neal’s Yard Remedies. 
• Peter Kindersley’s vision was reach more people – his vision is to change the way people think and feel about the natural world – from what the food that we eat, to what we put on our skin.

Plans for the Future

• Neal’s Yard Remedies has recently signed a distribution agreement in Dubai
• Neal’s Yard Remedies will continue to work with the Carbon Neutral company to reduce any impact on the environment and will remain Carbon Neutral.
• Neal’s Yard Remedies will continue to pioneer new product formulations and aims to meet customer demand with new innovative developments.
