Estate Company Business

  • With its offices based at 23 Queen Anne Street, the Estate's business is firmly rooted in the local community and is fully committed to a long term investment strategy, with an equal focus on each of its four sectors: residential, office, medical and retail.

    Business model

Reflecting almost 140 years of continuous ownership, the Group’s family shareholders take a long term view of their investment. As a result, the Group works hard to maintain the heritage, diversity and attractiveness of its land holding in Marylebone through a co-ordinated approach to estate management which requires oversight by a highly experienced management team. One of the defining characteristics of this long term strategy is the desire to balance the mix of property uses across the Estate’s four core sectors: medical, residential, office and retail (including restaurants). Similarly fundamental is the commitment to constantly improving the quality of the buildings under our ownership in order to respond to the requirements of existing and prospective tenants. By seeking to provide high quality accommodation, we aim to attract suitable tenants  that are drawn to Marylebone’s offices, shops and residential properties, and that the Harley Street Medical Area is able to attract medical practitioners who enhance its worldwide reputation for excellence.

    Strategic objectives

—Long term growth in rental income and property values
—Understanding and meeting our tenants’ requirements
    —Supporting the local community
    —Financial strength
